Kia Ora Bloggers! The first week back at school we did a STEAM challenge. We had to create a tower out of two sheets of paper and 30cm of tape. I was working with Ben & Mark S. I learnt that the strongest part part of the tower is the base as it strengthens the tower and balances it. We also learnt how to make the tallest free standing tower. After we did that we had to write a reflection about what we learnt. I found it easy coming up with the ideas for the tower but actually making the tower and putting it together was hard.
I think we did well when we were trying to make it stand up as it does that easily. We made the towers as a challenge to see whose was the tallest out of the whole class. Our tower was only 60cm tall which was a real bummer! Emma & Zhynaliyah came First with 118cm. If we did this STEAM Challenge again I would probably make the base of the tower thicker and the top longer. Blog you later!
