Kia Ora Bloggers! Last week in Te Ngahere we had a dentist come into our class to talk to us about caring for our teeth and our mouths. She talked to us about how if you have a cavity it’s not always on the surface of your teeth, they can sometimes be on the inside of them. I learnt that we brush our teeth to get rid of the plaque on our teeth. Plaque is this stuff that grows on your teeth and if you leave it there for too long then it will become hard as rock and can cause cavities. It’s amazing what happens in your mouth that you don’t know about. After she left we created some Digital Learning Objects to show what we learnt. Here is Mikaire and I’s.

Hey Jack, Dayton commenting here, I like you blog post about taking care of your teeth. I enjoyed this because it can teach little kids why brushing your teeth is important. No mistakes on this blog besides the part of the writing that says Here is Mikaire and I’s, that didn’t make sense. What else did you learn from the dentist?

Hi there Jack, it’s Franky. Your dentist D.L.O was quite funny and It is interesting that plaque will turn rock solid if you don’t brush your teeth. Have you ever got plaque on your teeth?It would be cool if you made part two for your animation. What will you do with this new knowledge?
