Wing

Kia Ora Bloggers!! In Te Ngahere we have been learning to write a moment in time.
We had to write about 1 clip in a video called wing. Here is my piece of writing so far.

What I think I did well was how I used good language like Ragged & zooms but I think
I can try and put them in the right place next time.

Soaring through the sky were three terrifying examples of plague doctors because of
their long beaks and black cloak like body’s. These creatures looked like the kind of
animal that sprung on their victims without hesitating. As they were gliding through the
sky they see a skinny little boy with a giant head playing a beautiful melody on a tiny little flute.
They swoop down and the largest one picks him up by his little ragged wing and throws him
to the floor.

The others crowd around the little flute and examine its majestic carve work.
One of them picks it up and has a good shot at playing it while the boy covers
his ears. He runs around a tree while the giant thing throws down the flute.
He looks around the side of the tree to see them lifting off. He zooms from his
hiding place, picks up his flute and then runs back into the woods towards his
house.
