The Unidoge

The Unidoge is a combination of a rabbit, a dog, a unicorn, a dragon and a pelican.
It has a purple spiral unicorn horn made from a material not yet known to mankind called Magicone, this has a substance of magic that no living being can control and the slightest touch will put the being into an extremely long coma
(this does not effective a Unidoge).
The Unidoge has eyes that can look into your mind and control you for a long period of time and then makes you forget where you are and who you are.
It's Dragon Wings can fold in and out while on the ground as to create a whirl of wind to send away the predator before attack
The Unidoge's torso, arms & legs are all from the body of a rabbit so for a last attack it will jump up and kick you in the face then either fly or run away, Not that it would need to.

Because of this the Unidoge is filed under "Dangerous" on the breeding list at the Ministry of Magic

Cacti Maths (Summer Learning Journey)

Let’s imagine that you are given a cactus for your birthday. To keep it alive, you must give it 3 ml of water every day.

Over one full year, how much water will you need to give your cactus plant?

Firstly I would start off by finding how many days in a year, 365. so 3 ml x 365 days = 1095 ml, so in a year you would need to give your cactus 1 litre and 95 ml of water, (a litre is 1000 ml) , that's not even as much as a 2 litre milk bottle, Crazy right.

My Favorite uniform would be the silver ferns because they have a really cool fern design on their uniforms. I like it because of the way the fern curls around into a circle

Tāne Mahuta (Summer Learning Journey)

I was very lucky to go and see Tāne Mahuta with my dad and trust me it was an amazing expereince, So one day I would like to go back and visit Tāne Mahuta with my mum because she has never been there before. Unfortunetly Tāne Mahuta has a disease called Kauri Die back. Kauri Die back is a disease that slowly kills off the nutrience in the tree and without the nutrience the tree will die (But Tāne Mahuta is putting up a great fight). I really hope it does not die because it is a great atraction to go and look at.

Wonderful Paihia (Summer Learning Journey)

Wonderful things about my hometown

I live in Paihia & I love it here! Paihia is one of the most popular tourist destinations in all of New Zealand & it is great to be living in this amazing place!

Next to Paihia is Waitangi, This is where the Treaty of Waitangi was signed on Febuary 6th 1840. Waitangi is a place that my family and I go for a night time walk with our dog across the beautiful waterfront and it's amazing view out to Shark Rock & the ocean. 

Paihia's Village green is in the middle of the town facing the waterfront. Each year we have the It Bay of Islands food and wine festival, the Bay of Islands farmers market & the Jennian Homes Mother's Day Fun Run/Walk along with a lot of other stuff. Me and my family are going to the circus tonight which is held on the Village Green. I can't wait!

I love it in Paihia because it is not too big and I know so many people and I have so many friends who live close to me. even thought my friends are off to high school I know I will always be able to see them, and that's what I love about Paihia.

Fun Facts About New Zealand (Summer Learning Journey)

1. The most popular films in the country include ‘Once were Warriors’, ‘The Whale Rider’, ‘The Piano’ and the ‘Lord of the Rings’ trilogy. This interested me because we have only just gone to Hobbiton where part of The Lord of the Rings trilogy was filmed and it was awesome. It was amazing how they made a gigantic artificial tree just for 3 or 4 scenes.

2. Another interesting fact is that the Auckland City Sky Tower is the tallest freestanding structure in the Southern Hemisphere at 328 meters high. I found this interesting because whenever my family and I drive through Auckland we play a game of who can spot the sky tower first because it is so tall that you can see it from a very long distance.

3. New Zealand is one of the world’s smallest countries with over 4 million people. Where as America has over 325.7 million. That's pretty amazing because the difference between the population is 321.7 million. WOW I can't even imagine how there city's look compared to Auckland.
